GUADALAJARA AND TEQUILA

DAY 1:
Guadalajara
Reception at the Airport or Bus Terminal of Guadalajara and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Free time. Accommodation.
DAY 2:
GUADALAJARA (City Visit) - TLAQUEPAQUE - GUADALAJARA
In the morning we enjoy a tour of the main streets of the city of Guadalajara, capital of the state of Jalisco, the second largest city in the country and the birthplace of the Mariachi that distinguishes Mexico in the world. Visit: the Plaza de Armas, where the Cathedral with its twin towers is located, this time the most representative monument of the city, whose interior is richly decorated with gold leaf pillars, Gothic vaults and stained glass windows of the Last Supper; the Hospicio Cabañas, with its murals by José Clemente Orozco, showing pre-Hispanic life and passages from the history of Guadalajara; the Degollado Theater, with its neoclassical design; the Rotunda of the Illustrious Jaliscienses; among others. Transfer to Tlaquepaque, a small colonial town located in the limits of Guadalajara, known as its craft products such as: ceramics, wood carvings and leather works. Free time to walk through its cobbled streets, its craft markets, or simply to admire the beautiful architecture of the place. Back to the hotel. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
DAY 3:
GUADALAJARA - TEQUILA - GUADALAJARA
Transfer to the Magical Town of Tequila through the blue agave fields, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Arrival in this region famous for producing the most representative drink in Mexico and visiting a distillery (Casa Herradura, Casa José Cuervo or Casa Cofradía), where you can learn about the fermentation process of Tequila and enjoy a tasting. Visit the center of the picturesque village of Tequila, with free time to buy and buy typical crafts. Return to Guadalajara. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
DAY 4:
GUADALAJARA
Free time until the scheduled time for the transfer to the Airport or Bus station of Guadalajara.

DAY 1:
GUADALAJARA
Reception at the Airport or Bus station of Guadalajara and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Free time. Accommodation.
DAY 2:
GUADALAJARA - TLAQUEPAQUE - TONALÁ - GUADALAJARA
Transfer to Tlaquepaque, a small colonial town located in the limits of Guadalajara, known for its craft products such as ceramics, wood carvings and leather work. Free time to stroll through its narrow cobbled streets, its craft markets, or simply to admire the beautiful architecture of the place. Continuation to Tonalá, another craft center since pre-Hispanic times, and famous for a large market that is installed in its main streets. After a brief explanation about the history of the region, you will have the opportunity to visit some of the workshops they manufacture: blown glass, wrought iron, papier-mâché and rustic wooden furniture, as well as mud in a variety of techniques. Back to the hotel. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
DAY 3:
GUADALAJARA - TEQUILA - GUADALAJARA

Visit the charming villages of Chapala and Ajijic, which border the largest natural lake in Mexico. Chapala, located to the south of Guadalajara and on the shores of the lake of the same name, is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape, which makes it a point of reference for retired Americans who are attracted by the incredible climate of the region. Continue to Ajijic, a small village north of the lake, an ideal place to walk through its cobbled streets while enjoying the romantic atmosphere of its galleries, picturesque shops and colonial style houses. Return to Guadalajara. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
DAY 5:
GUADALAJARA
Free time until the scheduled time to make the transfer to the Airport or Bus station of Guadalajara.
